INDEPENDENT LIVING 
PROGRAM

The Independent Living Program provides youth and young adults in foster care with the tools be autonomous, thriving members of the community. 

​

Our Independent Living counselors equip youth with life skills education such as money management, nutrition, planning for higher education, and career development.

Success Story

“WT had some difficulties during his time in foster care, but he managed to graduate high school. He then started the Plumbing Apprenticeship Program at Santa Fe College and successfully completed the program in 2018. WT then received and internship opportunity in Orlando, FL and has been hired by one of the largest companies in the United States. This young man's hard work and diligence have paid off and we are so proud of him."
